Does Diva maintain a Fuel Surcharge Policy?
Diva Limousine maintains a company-wide fuel surcharge policy for all of our corporate-owned locations. This policy is intended to alleviate the very high costs of operations that may occur in a volatile fuel environment. It is Diva’s intention to ensure that service levels do not fall victim to an uncontrollable increase in the cost of operations. We are committed to maintaining the standards of safety, security, and comfort, to which our clients expect and are accustomed to.
Due to the recent and ongoing increase in fuel costs, we will be implementing this surcharge effective March 1, 2011. The percentage will be calculated on the “Base Rate” only. For purposes of this policy, “Base Rate” shall mean the flat or hourly rate charged to customers and shall exclude gratuities, parking and tolls, service charges and any other miscellaneous incidental charges. This percentage, as well as any future changes to the surcharge will be based upon the national average “per gallon” regular unleaded gasoline prices published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (www.eia.doe.gov). Gasoline prices must be in the designated range for a period of 30 consecutive days before any changes to the surcharge will be implemented.

We have worked tirelessly to examine and effectively manage other facets of our business expenses in hopes of offsetting the many other increases we have experienced. We hope you agree that this decision offers the best and most fair solution for everyone. Any future changes to the surcharge will not be communicated to our customers and will simply be based on the chart above.
